meet at doc's...                                                 Meet us at Doc B's, Dave,   my oldest brother told me on the phone as I was driving east on I-465 in Indianapolis.  Carl and Ken will be there too.  It's in front of Keystone at the Crossing, he added.       Well, I 'm trying to navigate this nightmare on 465, I responded.  Give me 30 minutes, maybe longer.     Since leaving my Encore Performance in Indianapolis   at the end of the 2016 school year, my trips north and south on I-65 from Louisville to Indy and back to Kentucky have turned from weekly treks to occasional family visits.  However, there is one constant: I never fail to find myself in a traffic nightmare.     But, on this day, a near miracle happened.  I arrived at the restaurant on time!    I found ...

the next gen of george boys...                               The original George Boys (in my lifetime) were my dad and his four brothers.  Two of the uncles each had a boy and one had a daughter.     I was one of four brothers.  My brothers and I had eight boys and four girls, plus, there are step sons and daughters too.   The next generation has produced a mix of George boys and girls.  My son Jeremy, and, his wife, Nora, have two George Boys, Leo, 11, and, Dallas, 9.  Those George Boys had quite an adventure last summer.    Paris, France is a little over 4,517 air miles from New Port Richey, Florida, but, that didn't prevent our grandsons and their mom and dad from attending the Paris Olympics.   HUH ?  What's up with that ?   Leo and Dallas and their parents spent 21 days in Paris and Greece.  I thought it would be interesting to find out w...
